I want your photography session to be as seamless as possible, all the way from initial inquiry to gallery delivery. I’ve provided some answers to frequently asked questions that I get as a photographer, but please contact me directly if you have more questions. I’m looking forward to working with you!

  • Your session will be to you and your photo needs. We’ll meet, chat for a few minutes and then start shooting. If you book a longer session, we will walk between different locations and get to know each other as we shoot. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and delivery quality photos that spark joy!

  • Outside of completing the contract and invoice, think about what you want to get out of the session and exactly what you want to use your photos for and communicate that with me before we start shooting so I can curate your experience. You don’t need to bring anything with you or prepare anything for me, I’ve got you covered!

  • I pride myself on a fast turnaround time! I guarantee gallery delivery within 2-3 weeks of the session, but most galleries are delivered within 1 week of the session.

  • If you give notice of your desire to reschedule at least 1 week prior to your original session date, you will be charged a $100 rescheduling fee. If you give notice of your desire to reschedule less than one week prior to your original date, you will be charged a $200 rescheduling fee. Mutual rescheduling due to inclement weather is exempt from the rescheduling fee. If you cancel your session at any time prior to, or on, your session date, or if you fail to show up on your session date, there will be no refunds or reschedules.

  • Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in! If you are booking a 60 minute session with me, you have the opportunity to do an outfit change. Please check with me first if you plan to do this so we can prepare ahead of time.

  • If there is extreme weather, we may reschedule your session at my discretion. Conditions for cancellation include severe rain or snow or other natural disaster warnings.

  • Absolutely! I just ask that you tag @jessrhood on IG and @jessicarosehood on TikTok for photo credit.

  • I book sessions anywhere from 2 weeks out to 2 months out.

  • I may offer last minute booking discounts for minis, so follow my IG @jessrhood for updates!

  • No, I do not release raw versions of photos under any circumstance.
